Show Floorplan

The plant families are arranged around the room in a roughly clockwise direction, starting with the Ferns and Fern Allies and ending with the Composites.  This arrangement follows the evolutionary development of the plants' reproductive structures, from the simplest to the most complex.  Reggie Miller, Glide Wildflower Show founder, chose this organizational design (after Peck, 1961), and it has remained as the traditional arrangement of the exhibit.
