Weekend Overview General hours of operation Saturday and Sunday are 9 am to 5 pm. Both Saturday and Sunday the show is open from 8 am to 9 am for photographers only. Throughout the day a variety of food options are available for purchase. Homemade pies have been a feature of the show practically from its inception. Be sure to stop by the kitchen and sample some of the delicious offerings. The building is handicapped accessible. Throughout the weekend, roving botanists are available to answer questions. Photographs of rare and endangered species are displayed. Flora books and guides are for sale. If the weather is a little cool, dress warmly. Every attempt is made to keep the building cool to help preserve the flowers. The temperature inside can be a bit chilly for some visitors.
