Wolf Creek Wildflower Walk

You've seen the flowers in vases. Come see them in their natural environment!  Join two wildflower show collectors and learn to identify common flowers, shrubs, and trees in the North Umpqua area. The leaders, Nancy Tague and Dianne Muscarello, have collected for the show along the North Umpqua since 2003.

The walk will begin at the parking lot for the Wolf Creek trailhead, a 20 minute drive up Little River Road from Glide. Maps to the location will be available at the front desk.  There is parking at the trailhead.  The trail gently meanders through old growth forest.  We will walk together about 1/2 mile. At that point, you may continue walking to the waterfall or return to the parking lot.  The trail starts out very easy and becomes a little more strenuous after 1/4 mile.

Wear comfortable walking shoes that you don't mind getting dirty if the trail is wet. Come dressed for the weather. Plan on about an hour for the guided walk, or 2 hours should you choose to continue farther.
